Celtic Community Leisure is the first ‘not-for-profit’ Trust in Wales established to manage nine Leisure facilities in the Neath Port Talbot area. We are looking to strengthen our business in vital areas and have a vacancy for an:

I.C.T. Manager – Salary £30,000
(pending pay and grading review)

You will be responsible for managing the development, implementation, operation, support of ICT systems and services used throughout the company. You must have previous relevant management experience combined with a high level of ICT and Research knowledge and skills. You will liaise closely with senior management and the board to provide effective and improved ICT solutions.

You will have excellent communication skills, have a commitment to excellent customer service, be flexible and have a proactive approach to your work. In addition, you should have an eye for detail, be reliable, demonstrate the ability to work under pressure, and have experience of working with teams and individuals. Experience in dealing with third party outsourced service providers would be advantageous.

We are looking for someone who is educated to degree level or equivalent and able to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the service, including evenings and weekends.

Non Executive Management Board Recruitment

Celtic Community Leisure is the first Industrial and Provident Society (IPS) in Wales established in April 2003 to manage leisure facilities on behalf of Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council, trading on a not-for-profit basis. The business retains the public sector ethos but this is combined with greater private sector freedoms. In this way it is our aim to increase the number and range of users, so increasing income and reducing dependency on local authority funding.

Our Mission: “To provide the appropriate number of quality leisure facilities and activities, that are affordable, for an increasing number and range of users so they want to return time and again”

Recruitment
We are looking to expand the membership of our Non Executive Management Board to support the strategic direction of the organisation. We would be particularly interested in hearing from enthusiastic individuals from Neath Port Talbot with skills, experience and knowledge of, Law, Human Resources, Finance and Business Management.

Management Committee membership is voluntary, with no remuneration, although travel expenses may be reimbursed.
