Afan Lido Children re-located and kept active with Celtic Community Leisure
In light of the fire at the Afan Lido Leisure Complex, Celtic Community Leisure in partnership with Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council has re-located Swimming Clubs and the “Aqua Academy” to other CCL Managed Facilities, keeping over 800 children physically active within Neath Port Talbot.
Aberavon Swimming and Lifeguard Clubs have been relocated to Neath Leisure Centre with Llandarcy Swimming Club utilising pool time at Cymmer Swimming Pool, Vale of Neath Leisure Centre and Pontardawe Swimming Pool.
The” Afan Lido Aqua Academy Learn to Swim Programme” has also been relocated to Neath Leisure Centre with only one change to the original Timetable, that being Saturday morning lessons are now being run on a Sunday morning.
The Afan Lido Aqua Academy Learn to Swim Programme” lessons commence week beginning 11th January and bookings are now being taken at Neath Leisure Centre.
