We are the first Industrial and Provident Society in Wales established in April 2003 to mange leisure facilities on behalf of Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council, trading on a not-for-profit basis.
We manage nine leisure centres and swimming pools employing nearly 200 staff on a permanent basis and approximately double that during peak periods.

SUMMER HOLIDAYS AT THE AQUADOME
The Aquadome is open for the Summer Holidays from Thursday 24th July, Open every day 10.30 – 5.00 with all our waves and slides.
Free swimming for the under 16’s, 9.00-10.30 Monday – Friday, and 5.00 – 7.00 Tuesday and Thursday. Under 8’s must be accompanied by an adult.
Structured activities available free for the under 16’s daily Phone reception on 01639 871444 for further information. School holiday opening hours now apply.

Work commencing on new £300,000 Health & Fitness development at the Vale of Neath Leisure Centre
Celtic Community Leisure are please to announce that work will be commencing on the Inshape Health and Fitness facility at the Vale of Neath Leisure Centre in Glynneath. The new facility will be created by the construction of a mezzanine floor in the existing sports hall, there will be a purpose built lift to allow access for users with disabilities. The new facility will have 27 stations which will offer an amalgamation of Cardio Vascular and resistance machines, there will also be a cardio theatre.
The new £300,000 development will open in mid May, the existing fitness suite will be upgraded and converted into a Heavy weights room. The Celtic Community Leisure Advantage card will include this new facility, and new applications for Membership can be made at the Vale of Neath Leisure Centre.
During the building of this new facility, we have accommodated our displaced
users until the building work is complete.

Welsh Assembly Free-Swimming
Celtic Community Leisure are pleased to announce that we have been successful in our application for two grants via the Welsh Assembly Free Swimming Capital Improvement scheme. The Aquadome has had a new cash desk and improvements made to the entrance foyer. At Neath Leisure Centre there has been a complete refurbishment of the ladies wetside changing rooms.
